Itinerary
Arrival in Haridwar
- Arrive at Haridwar by train or road.
- Check into the hotel and rest.
- In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.
- Overnight Stay: Haridwar
Haridwar to Barkot (Approx. 180 km / 6–7 hrs)
- After breakfast, drive to Barkot via Mussoorie.
- Stop at Kempty Falls for sightseeing (optional).
- Reach Barkot, check in at the hotel or camp.
- Prepare for the Yamunotri trek the next day.
- Overnight Stay: Barkot
Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (Drive 36 km + 6 km trek one way)
- Early morning drive to Janki Chatti.
- Begin 6 km trek to Yamunotri (on foot, pony or palanquin).
- Take a holy dip in Surya Kund, visit the Yamunotri Temple.
- Return trek to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot.
- Overnight Stay: Barkot
Barkot to Uttarkashi (Approx. 100 km / 4–5 hrs)
- After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi.
- Visit Vishwanath Temple and the local market.
- Rest and prepare for Gangotri the next day.

Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (Approx. 100 km each way / 3–4 hrs)
- Early morning drive to Gangotri.
- En route stop at Harsil Valley for scenic views.
- Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River and darshan at Gangotri Temple.
- Return to Uttarkashi by evening.
