Kashmir region is often referred to as the 'Switzerland of India' and is one of the few places in the world that is untamed by modern society. Kashmir is predominately surrounded by breathtaking mountains accompanied by gorgeous narrow valleys. The region is home to the second highest peak in the world, Mount Godwin Austen which is famously referred to as K2 scaling at a whopping 28,251 ft. above sea level.
Despite popular belief, Kashmir is not only subjected to extreme snowy weather but rather ranges from subtropical climate in the southern part of the region to traditional alpine conditions in the high altitude mountain areas. The natives in the areas are fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Dogri which makes the destination especially desirable to travel along with the astonishing panoramic views which are ideal for family vacations as well as couple getaway/honeymoon.

Itinerary
Arrive - Srinagar
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your houseboat. In the evening, enjoy a serene Shikara ride on the world-famous Dal Lake, soaking in the beauty of the surrounding mountains and floating gardens. After the ride, return to your houseboat for a relaxing overnight stay amidst the calm waters of the lake.
Srinagar to Pahalgam (92 kilometers / 2 hrs drive)
After Breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. After breakfast. Local Sightseeing in Pahalgam. Like Chandanwari, Aru Valley and Betab Valley and Overnight stay at Hotel.
Pahalgam to Gulmarg (135 kilometers / 2.3 hrs drive)
After breakfast in the morning, proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and check in at the hotel. Later, begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system (the 08 minutes ropeway). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding. Stay overnight at hotel in Gulmarg.
Gulmarg to Srinagar
After breakfast, enjoy some final sightseeing in Gulmarg before departing for Srinagar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to refresh. Later, head out for a half-day sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the world-famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (The Abode of Love), followed by stops at the Shankaracharya Temple, Pari Mahal, and the revered Hazratbal Shrine. Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay in Srinagar.
Srinagar Airport Drop
After your breakfast, we will assist you with transfers to Srinagar Airport. However, on your way, you can make a brief stopover for Shopping and then for your onward flight.
